I do not know how a song about racism by an anti-patriotic, Vietnamese Refugee in a cape in a graveyard got uploaded on a Country Western channel without noticing that this is not their taste, but I’ll consider it an accomplishment.

(THIS SONG IS NOT ON THE 7″ INCH VINYL EP)
Hi,
This song was supposed to be on my upcoming 7 inch vinyl EP “A Reasonable Man”, but at the last minute took it off and put “The Tallest Asian Man In The World” in instead for a few reasons. For one, I personally thought I could do better lyrically. And two, the other song is catchier, I have no other track on the record tackling Asian issues, and three it fits in with the “Classic Nhat” sound people know me to make, where as “Pull” is dark and slow, which is still good to me, because it’s different than my usual material, but it doesn’t meet expectations of hardcore fans who want that upbeat tempo they’re used to in my recordings. And if I’m going to pour hundreds of dollars into making a collector’s item for my fans, it should be what they want and expect.
The video was shot in 2010 in Southern California. It features KSPC’s DJ Maimes (The Garden Hour), local LA artist meaganboyd.com, and Vermont House Alumni, Isaac Takeuchi of Systole.
The past few months I’ve been working on my next full-length “Death Doesn’t Care About Love” with plans to make it a 20 track album. During this time, I’ve already recorded over the desired amount of songs I want on the album. So, I’ve been listening to what I have so far and decided to create an EP of some songs I decided against being on the album. Hence, the title, “Severed Members”.

New Video I shot for “Heads On Sticks”
After I finished this song I had it on repeat. I loved the bells. I had to make a video for it.
Amorn and I are playing this festival Saturday at 10:15. Come see us. If you have never seen us and wonder who Amorn is, visit my Instagram and watch the practice video for “How Long It Takes To Scratch Your Arm Off”. Thank you. Hope to see you at the show.
