RIP MOM

My mom taught me how to make homemade noodles from scratch. That was my favorite thing to eat while growing up.

2026 has been quite the year.

I lose my job of 5 years, get in my first fistfight in over a decade, and my mom dies.

I started a new job 4 weeks ago, but I’m not adjusting as well as they hoped. Then with my moms deaths, I took three days off immediately, upon returning I made some mistakes and they said I could take more time off. However, EDD unemployment terminated my case, so I have to appeal. Because it said I could be inelgible for three years. I fear I’m going to lose this job in three months and I won’t get EDD while I look for a new job. And since I can’t get bearevement pay with my new job, I need as much work/hours as I can get so I still have to work no matter how I feel. Which sucks for the customers, the company and myself.

As I reflect I’m scared to compare what’s good and what’s bad in my life. I may end up realizing there’s more bad. I’ve been kind of suicidal lately, so I don’t know if that is healthy. The be honest, it’d motivate me towards are darker path. There’s nothing positive to come out of a comparison sheet of my life or current life.

Anyways, my mom was a sad person. She spent the past 26 years alone basically.

In 1994 she bought the dream house she always wanted. In 1996 day after xmas, my dad died. THen in May 1997 I left for college and never returned. When she had her first heart atttack and we thought she was going to die that year, she just wanted to see her son one last time. She had only seen me 4 times since I left.

After my dad passing and myself leaving, she couldn’t afford that huge home alone. She sold it.

She was mentally unstable, no one talked about it. And I didn’t see it until I was away from it.

She deserved a better vehicle and life, she just wanted to take care of things. Foster Kids, animals. She was a mother.
